Supporting Indian/T-Hub Startups with India and International Market Access

GBI is working with Hyderabad based T-hub to support its innovative and cutting edge startups with Market Access opportunities, both in India as well as internationally particularly in Silicon Valley-California and Europe. 

As an initial activity, GBI will be supporting growth stage startups in 2016’s Intel & DST – Innovate for Digital India Challenge 2.0 (“Challenge”) which is anchored by T-Hub Foundation, and supported by MyGov and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (“MeitY”). Along with ICT, the key focus sectors include E-Governance, Agriculture Solutions / Agritech, Healthcare Solutions / Healthtech, Education Solutions, Financial Inclusion / Fintech, Manufacturing/Engineering, Services and Logistics, Sustainability including resources as water, energy, and Smart City. As a part of the program, together with our partners USMAC, GBI will be supporting startups with India and International Market access as below.

Under International Market Access with USMAC

  • Organizing a 4 day hands on training and mentoring with Silicon Valley expert mentors – which includes workshops, One-to-one mentoring; and Guest lectures
  • Silicon Valley program in California – A 2 week intense program that involves- Meetings with Prospective Customers; Investor Pitch Event; Meeting and Pitch with Angel Investors; Meetings with Corporate Investors; Networking Events

Under India Market Access with USMAC

  • Identifying specific ecosystem for each startup that include technology partners, researchers, government institutions, financial institutions such as investors, VC etc
  • Mentoring of startups accessing India market
  • Market validation leading to identification of business model
